Speak up. Stand together. Stop bullying.
Pink Shirt Day is an annual global event that is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting positive social relationships. It’s about creating a community where all people feel safe, valued and respected. Regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or cultural background.
Unitec is joining the movement, so on Friday 18 May, there'll be Pink Shirt Day activity happening on each campus. There will be a BBQ, giveaways, and music.
Make sure to wear anything PINK on the day to receive a free sausage!
For those of you that forget to wear pink, you can pick up a pink sticker in support on the day #PinkShirtDayNZ
