Ka Rewa Symposium is a whole day focused upon creating a solid foundation of understanding in relation to the value and worth of our mātauranga Māori and based upon the whakapapa of:
Awareness - Understanding - Engagement
Our day sessions will be split into guest presentations and interactive activities, and we’re excited to announce our guest speakers for the day are:
- Dr Curtis Bristowe: Indigenous Knowledge and Indigenous Research.
- Aubrey Te Kanawa: Indigenous Knowledge in Action, Papa Kāinga Development.
Māori postgraduate students are automatically enrolled in Ka Rewa: Māori Innovation Symposium which takes place on the 10th and 11th July following Postgraduate Ka Rewa.
