Unitec Pathways College (UPC) is here to connect our schools and school students to Unitec. We're here to provide opportunities for young people to experience tertiary education while they're still at school so they can easily see their path to their chosen career and we're also here to help them make it happen.

For schools this means we're their Unitec connection when partnering in the integrated delivery of NCEA Level 2 and 3 Vocational Pathway courses and STAR programmes. If your school is interested in partnering with us please contact UPC@unitec.ac.nz

For parents and caregivers this means when your young person is still at school, but studying with us, together with their school we share responsiblity for the care of your young person.

For school students we're the team that come out to your school to meet you and show you what it means to be a Unitec student. We help connect you to school holiday workshops, campus tours and Open Day. We can help answer any questions you have about our programmes.

Here is a recent example of the kind of work we do with Auckland's young people.

Young Women in Trades
A cohort of young women from Kelston Girls' College, Green Bay High and St. Dominic's College came to Unitec every week for 14-28 weeks to learn different trades - including building and carpentry, and electrical skills. Since then a number of these young women have gone on to study a trade here at Unitec.
