Programme summary

Further your computing career, at a time and pace that suits you. Select the topics that interest you the most – from programming and analysis to networks and databases.

Are you already working with computers but don’t have a formal qualification, or do you have a degree in a different discipline and want to move into the IT sector? The Graduate Diploma in Computing aims to equip you with substantial problem-solving skills in an area of your interest. Specialise in one of three distinct pathways: data communication/networks, software development or business analysis.

Highlights

  • Can serve as a bridge into the postgraduate computing programmes.
  • Flexibility: you choose what courses interest you the most – from programming, software and hardware, to databases, networking, information systems and the internet. You can also develop testing and quality assurance skills, along with the project planning skills to lead a small in-house IT project.
  • Practise your skills on cutting-edge computer technology.
  • Highly qualified professionals as your lecturers.
  • Small classes that ensure plenty of one-on-one time with your lecturers.
  • Individual support: new students will be enrolled by the Programme Leader for an approved programme of study and given their timetables individually.
