Zane Egginton is a CAD and earth processes lecturer and film studio owner. He trained as an Earth Scientist (BSc) at Waikato University with supporting subjects in computing and GIS.

Zane has over 20 years of experience with CAD and 3D modeling as well as an interest in film making and visual FX. His film studio in West Auckland is called Sunset Studios.

He has spent a year in the Netherlands as a computer programmer, and has worked at Unitec for 10 years as a CAD and earth processes lecturer in the Department of Landscape Architecture.

His visualisation projects include the Auckland City Council’s plan for the Wynyard Quarter, aka Tank Farm, and an animation for the New Zealand Government of a proposed waterfront stadium (Stadium Aotearoa).

Zane received a Unitec research grant for his Digital Visualisations of the Auckland Isthmus.
