Cris De Groot is a product design and innovation specialist.  An Italian-born, Dutch national, Cris was raised in the UK and now lives on Auckland’s North Shore. He has a PhD in design philosophy and a keen interest in New Zealand’s unique flora and fauna.

Cris is engaged in new product development and research across a variety of markets, including sports, giftware, domestic, and medical.

His specific areas of expertise include user experience design and sustainable products. He believes that redesigning simple gifts inspired by NZ nature offers an inspiration to consumers to re-experience the world anew, and consume a little more conscientiously.
