Love dogs? Explore the factors that influence canine behaviour and husbandry, and apply theoretical knowledge to training dogs for a range of roles. Develop knowledge of the roles and requirements of canine-related industries in NZ, and apply your knowledge through practical training in our dog agility area.

Passionate about dogs? This unique programme gives you the technical and transferable skills to work in the animal industries, specifically those that are canine-related. Explore the anatomy and husbandry of a range of species, and the ethical and philosophical frameworks that surround the canine industries. Gain a broad understanding of the factors that influence canine behaviour and husbandry, and apply theoretical knowledge to train a range of dogs. You also develop an in-depth knowledge of the roles and requirements of canine-related industries in New Zealand.
