Want to be a health professional with a career in medical radiation technology? Gain skills in diagnostic imaging and learn to safely use radiation to obtain images for diagnostic use. Spend at least two days a week in a radiology/x-ray department.

Want a career in medical imaging? The Bachelor of Health Science (Medical Imaging) provides you with the theoretical and clinical knowledge to work as a medical radiation technologist (MRT). Learn to safely use radiation to obtain images for diagnostic use. To produce these images, you need a sound understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, physics, and the medical radiation equipment and clinical techniques you will use. You also get an introduction to more advanced imaging systems.
