
Social & Health Sciences
The Faculty of Social and Health Sciences is the largest of Unitec's three Faculties:
- 4300 Equivalent Full Time Students (EFTS)
- 320 tenured staff, and over 1000 staff (including casual and part-time staff)
- 11 Departments, ranging from Nursing to Social Practice to Sport
Programmes are offered at Mt Albert, Waitakere and Northern campuses. Some courses are also taught in Shandong, China and others are offered throughout New Zealand and the Pacific.
Programmes range from special needs through to doctoral study.
So while we are a diverse collection of Departments and people, we share the goal of providing all students with the skills needed by communities and businesses.
