Scholarships, Awards and Grants
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is currently seeking tertiary students to fulfil a wide range of summer internships with the New Zealand Aid Programme. These are paid positions based in Wellington, conducting project work over a 6 to 12 week period this December – February.
These internships are a great opportunity for graduates and postgraduate students to gain experience in development policy and practice. These internships provide a good entry level view of the New Zealand Aid Programme, and may involve work on projects ranging from sythesis research, social media, communications and promotion, or other support tasks relating to the policy, planning, management and implementation of the New Zealand Aid Programme.
The Ministry is looking for well rounded individuals who demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, academic excellence and leadership within their communities, and who are committed to a career in internatioanl development.
These internships will be paid at a salary rate equivalent to $33,000 per annum.
