How do I ask for an exam paper review or recount?

Students who believe there has been an error in the addition of the marks on their exam script can apply to have their exam script recounted. The lecturer will check the marking has been added up and correctly calculated.

If you would like to apply for a recount on a recent exam script, please complete the Request for Recount form and return it to Student Central with payment.

Note: This is not a re-marking of your exam script; it is a recount of the marks. You must apply for a recount within 15 days of receiving your result notification.

There is an administration fee to have this processed. Please see our Administrations fees information for this cost.
