Scholarships provide financial support and business mentoring for Unitec students.

Nine Unitec students were recently selected for the 2013 Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), and their achievements recognised at an official gathering last week.

12 Unitec students have been awarded Men’s Health Scholarships by the New Zealand Men’s Health Trust (NZMHT), at an awards event held at Unitec’s Mt. Albert campus.

CMC Limited and Unitec Institute of Technology, New Zealand today announced launch of two vocational education programs aimed at building highly skilled manpower for the Construction Industry and for meeting the demand of high end areas in the IT Industry. And this year saw two teams from Unitec reach the National Finals and vie to represent New Zealand at the Cup’s International finale in St Petersburg. One of those teams, STAYhealth, didn’t just develop a mobile application that allowed a Windows phone to check on a patient’s heart rate – there were moments when they thought they might need it themselves.
