- Camera: assistant camera, data wrangler, gaffer/grip, best boy, lighting assistant
- Directing: director's assistant, continuity assistant
- Editing: assistant editor, post-production assistant, data wrangler
- Production: production co-ordinator, production secretary, production assistant, assistant director, runner
- Scriptwriting: researcher, scriptwriter
- Sound: sound recordist, boom swinger, sound designer
Such positions can be the beginning of a career path that leads to exciting and rewarding roles in more senior positions in the film and television industry.
