Graduates can expect to be well-equipped to fill entry-level and assistant positions such as:

  • Camera: assistant camera, data wrangler, gaffer/grip, best boy, lighting assistant
  • Directing: director's assistant, continuity assistant
  • Editing: assistant editor, post-production assistant, data wrangler
  • Production: production co-ordinator, production secretary, production assistant, assistant director, runner
  • Scriptwriting: researcher, scriptwriter
  • Sound: sound recordist, boom swinger, sound designer

Such positions can be the beginning of a career path that leads to exciting and rewarding roles in more senior positions in the film and television industry.
