Improve your understanding of musical history and styles, experiment with new music technologies and benefit from hands-on experience creating music with others.

If you have a passion for all things musical, this programme will equip you with the skills you need for higher-level study and a successful career in music composing, performing, producing or teaching. The Certificate in Music (Introductory) improves your understanding of musical history and styles from New Zealand and beyond, lets you experiment with new music technologies, and helps you find out how to turn your love of sound, composition and music technology into a rewarding career as a musician or in the music-related industries.
