Courses
The National Certificate in Retail (Level 3) usually includes the following courses. The course content can be modified to suit your company’s needs.
Customer Services
This course focuses on product knowledge, telephone sales, customer services, giving and receiving feedback, and responding to customer complaints.
Communications
This course covers communication skills related to the retail workplace, including communication process theory, giving and responding to feedback, teamwork, listening skills and giving instructions in the workplace.
Enhanced Work Practices
This course focuses on legislation related to the sale of goods and services, and the principles of workplace safety. Students also learn to demonstrate safe work practices in their work.
Stock Control
In this course students develop skills related to stock control principles, and stock control systems, inward goods and stock maintenance.
