To provide students with an in-depth understanding of the core concepts and techniques for planning and control of costs in organisations.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to BBusiness or Dip Prof Accountancy to enrol in this course. Pre-reqs: Min 60 crdts @ Lvl5 incl:(ACTY5200 or ALAF5200 or ACTY5200S)&(ACTY5230 or ALAF5230)&(COMM5530 or COMM5430 or BSNS5600 or BSNS5600S).Restriction: ALAF6212.
Topics include: 

Development and role of management accounting, cost concepts, cost behaviour, cost systems, budgeting, decision making
