Aim: 
To introduce students to the importance of research and data collection in business and apply quantitative methods and statistical analysis to data.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Restriction: ALAF5401.
Topics include: 

Types, sources, qualities and amounts of data, sampling, data collection, visual presentation of data, numerical summaries, sampling variability, interval estimation, hypothesis testing, relationships (correlation and regression), changes over time (time series analysis and quality control)
