Aim: 
To enable students to undertake a short-term work and/or training experience related to a communication investigation activity that will contribute to a student’s vocational pathway. It provides an opportunity to integrate theoretical knowledge and practice through a strategy of applied learning in the workplace.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Pre-requisite: Programme Committee approval. Restriction: COMM7433.
Topics include: 

Nature and requirements of the internship; course overview and workplace preparation (including CVs), critical self reflection and learning journals, personal goal setting, project/ time management, project report writing, workplace ethics, preparation for final assessment and peer critique.
