Aim: 
To enable students to examine the critical elements associated with the production of an event. Students will address key concepts of event production and apply their learning to engage in the communication and co-ordination of an event to professional standards of compliance, presentation and evaluation.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Pre-requisite: COMM6500.
Topics include: 

Topics include
event logistics, accounting and budgeting, event appraisal, risk management, health and safety, managing the media, promotion and publicity, managing sponsorship, compliance communication, human resourcing, communication with employees, sponsors and volunteers
