Aim: 
To further develop Te Reo Maori language skills, advance knowledge of Tikanga Maori, and develop students understandings of Manaaki Whenua and its application in teaching practice.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisites: (EDUC5911, 5912, 5913, 5914, 5915, 5905 & (5916 or (5919 and 5519)).
Topics include: 

It is expected that you attend 100% of all courses and sessions within the programme
A minimum of 80% attendance (maximum 20% absence) is required for successful completion of any course (excluding practicum which requires 100% attendance)
