Aim: 
To introduce the practice of teaching, with an emphasis on developing responsive and reciprocal relationships, through engagement in a work experience setting
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) programme to enrol in this course. Restriction: EDUC5916.
Topics include: 

Intro to teaching practice and teaching strategies, e-portfolios, reflection, play-based learning, developing relationships with children, developing a personal philosophy of teaching, te reo me ona tikanga M?ori, digital literacy, positive guidance
