Aim: 
To assist students to examine and analyse a range of theories and philosophies on the care, learning and development of infants and toddlers
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisites: (EDUC5911, 5912, 5913, 5914, 5915, 5905 & (5916 or (EDUC5919 & 5519)).
Topics include: 

Review of theories and how they relate to infants and toddlers
Child observation applied to critical engagement with theories/ theorists, Relational pedagogy and attachment, Introduction to Madga Gerber and RIE Philosophy, cont
