Aim: 
To critically examine a selection of current developments and emerging issues in Information Technology and their impacts on businesses and society in general
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Master of Computing programme or the Postgraduate Diploma in Computing programme to enrol in this course.
Topics include: 

Data Scientist tools, programming, application program interface (API), programming language concepts of data analysis, model selection
sourcing and cleaning data, data modelling and analysis, statistical inference, regression models, developing data products, data sources and databases
