Aim: 
To equip the participants with an in-depth understanding of concepts, procedures and computing techniques for cyber-security in the context of cloud-based systems and small size business infrastructure planning.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Master of Computing programme or the Postgraduate Diploma in Computing programme to enrol in this course.
Topics include: 

Study concept of cyber-security and risk management, investigate models, methodologies and standards of cyber-security and cloud computing,
study cloud-based security incidents,
Investigate cyber-security initiatives including government-led projects, industry consortia and international fora,
explore resources for cyber--security, study operation and software development of cloud computing,
assess trustworthness in cloud computing, analyse cognitive approaches for cloud end users and enterprise organisations,
study network-level control, communication protocols for measurement and control, communication protocols for cloud computing,
and assess trustworthiness in networked environment.
