Aim: 
To explore a variety of model making processes and their effect on the practice of architecture.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Architectural Studies programme to enrol in this course. Restriction: ARCH6626.
Topics include: 

- Formal model studies - exploring an iterative process of design including the making of plaster castings, paper and card models, digital models
- Presentation models - preparation of laser-cutting files and laser-cutting techniques
- Industry experience - experiencing fabrication procedures and techniques from leading industry representatives through presentations and site visits
