Predation, competition, symbiosis, parasitism, commensalism, mutualism, parasitoids, ecological succession, freshwater, marine and terrestrial habitats, ecotone, biomes,
Ecosystems
Trophic levels, energy flows, biogeochemical cycles, ecosystem function
Conservation ecology
Conservation, protected area theory and design, modelling, edge effects, restoration
