Aim: 
To enable students to employ acting theory and technique in specialised creative situations while consolidating the ability to participate in complex work. This course focuses on enabling students to consolidate range of advanced specialist theories, concepts and techniques in a variety of practical settings to demonstrate how these concepts contribute to their personal voice as a creative artist/practitioner.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts programme or the Graduate Diploma in Creative Practice programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisite: PASA7213 and PASA7215.
Topics include: 

Actor's preparation and warm up Additional dialogue recording Advanced movement, physical expression and musicality for actors
Auditions/casting Capability in media technologies Containing and maintaining energy
Creative ownership and process as a personal practice Devising/text-based disciplines Digital technologies Director's vision and working methods
Ethics and accountability in creative practice Exploration of self and creativity Film making processes
Independence and critical analysis in creative research Management of creative process, business, and production Organisational and interactive aspects of creative production Complex responsibilities and procedures in production context
Preparing for a role, auditioning, sustaining performance Principals of creative expression Professionalism in self management, Self-criticism and self-improvement
Realising creative concepts innovatively Rehearsal/blocking/shaping/ pacing/consolidating Relationships with director and other personnel
Research historical/political background Specialised creative and aesthetic aspects of creative production Start to finish ? seeing the project through Voice production, Voice over
