Research
Research activity is central to the practice of teaching and learning at Unitec. Research at Unitec is wide and varied, and encompasses many departments and discipline areas. Our focus is on applied research that delivers value and impact for our community, stakeholders and industry.
Unitec aims to produce work-ready graduates who are skilled in current theory and practice within their chosen profession, industry and community. It is therefore essential that the staff involved in this process are active in related research to ensure currency of their knowledge and the development of advanced thought and practice.
The Research Office and Postgraduate Centre supports both staff and student research at Unitec. We’re here to help staff and students conduct excellent research and achieve their research goals.
Unitec’s latest initiative ePress aims to explore and enable new modes of scholarly publishing.
