Research Publications
Unitec’s Research Office and Postgraduate Centre publishes two main research publications; Advance (Unitec’s research magazine) and an Annual Research report.
Advance
Advance is published three times a year by the Research Office and the Postgraduate Centre.
The magazine highlights research conducted by Unitec staff and students, illustrating how research and advanced practice can serve the needs of industries, communities and professions.
The articles included in the magazine cover research and innovation in all disciplines at Unitec and target a universal audience with an interest in higher education and research.
Recent stories range from exploring the meaning of research in the context of creative disciplines such as performing and screening arts, and design and architecture, to a look at various factors associated Kea population in New Zealand and its decline.
Annual Research Report
The Annual Research Report outlines Unitec’s contribution in the field of research. It is a list of all the research and academic outputs (papers, articles, exhibitions, and performances) by Unitec staff in the respective year.
Below are the latest issues of Advance magazine, as well as the Annual Research reports.
