Introduction

The Autodesk Training Centre (ATC) at Unitec is one of 350 worldwide sites chosen by Autodesk Inc. for its reputation and commitment to the highest standards of training excellence, providing short, intensive training courses for working professionals. Unitec's ATC offers courses and labs which aim to provide quality training for more professionals than at any other site in New Zealand.

Unitec’s ATC currently offers training in two of Autodesk’s products:

  • Revit Architecture Building Information Modelling Software
    This is state-of-the-art-3D software that is now used by most of the larger architecture practices around the world.
  • AutoCAD
    This is the leading 2D computer aided design package that has been the industry standard for the last two decades.

It is intended that courses in other Autodesk Building Information software will be offered in the very near future.

For working professionals
The professional training courses are intensive to give you the best possible knowledge in a short period of time. These courses are proven to make you immediately more productive.

Experienced instructors
Courses are taught by knowledgeable and experienced AutoCAD professionals, who are capable of communicating specific, practical skills for on-the-job applications.

Low student to teacher ratio
Class enrolments are limited, ensuring small class sizes.

Open lab time
The open lab is available for use Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 9pm for additional practice with AutoCAD.

All certified course material included
A comprehensive training manual and data disk are included, plus parking is available.
