Whether you are learning English as an additional language or one of the other languages offered at Unitec, the Language Learning Centre can help you improve your language skills. A free service for students enrolled at Unitec, the Language Learning Centre contains a wide range of self-access language materials.
The LLC
- Contains self-access language materials for independent study
- Caters for all levels
- Has support documents to help you use the resources
- Facilitates self-directed learning and fosters learner autonomy
Resources
The Language Learning Centre caters for all levels of learning and you can choose the resources you need, depending on your language ability. There are also support documents to help you use the resources and facilitate self-directed learning.

- Materials focusing on English for Special and/or Academic Purposes
- Dictionaries
- Learning strategy materials
- Documentaries and information about life in New Zealand
