Industry Based Learning (IBL)

Industry Based Learning (IBL) has been an integral and successful part of the Unitec Bachelor of Business (BBus) degree programme for senior students since 1995.

IBL is an educational partnership between a commercial organisation and a Unitec student. Unitec can provide you a source of enthusiastic, well-trained senior students who can bring their newly gained expertise, fresh ideas and inspiration to any business. We have business degree students majoring in a variety of disciplines including; Accounting, Finance, HR, Marketing and Service Operations.

Flexible study options

Start your study at a level that suits you - from certificates and diplomas to the Bachelor of Business and postgraduate qualifications. You can then move on to a higher level if desired.

To help you fit study around your work or family commitments, many of our programmes are also available as evening classes or on a part-time basis. If you're interested in the Bachelor of Business but aren't sure which major to choose, the first semester gives you an overview of the various business disciplines and you can then select or change your major.

Professional Development for Accountants

Unitec's Professional Accountancy Preparation Workshop (formerly the PCE-1 Preparation Workshop) prepares you for the Professional Accountancy exam.

The workshop will help you gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the Professional Accountancy exam. Financial Adviser workshops
