At Unitec, we believe that all students must be treated with fairness and provided with support in the resolution of problems. To ensure this, Unitec has appointed a Conciliator whose role it is to provide independent, confidential support and advice to students and staff.
The Conciliator acts as a confidential adviser and can help you resolve any disputes or grievances you may have during your time at Unitec. The Conciliator works closely with independent Student Advocates and faculty Student Representatives to respond appropriately to concerns and complaints that have not been satisfied by the appropriate department or institute procedures.
If you have had difficulty resolving an issue through other channels at Unitec, or have concerns about your experience, please feel free to contact the Conciliator for assistance. This service is provided on an impartial and neutral basis, to provide assistance to all parties concerned.
